BCM - How did your life change when you became a mom?

Grace - Everything changed for the better!  Having children enriched my life completely. Everyday I think about how blessed I am to have such incredible children in my life.

BCM- What has been your most memorable moment as a mom?

Grace - Holding and kissing each of my babies immediately after giving birth and realizing that having kids is the most amazing experience anyone can have.

BCM- What has been the biggest challenge for you in motherhood?

Grace - Thinking I could do it all!

BCM- What activities do you like to do with your children and why?

Grace - I absolutely love hanging at home with my husband Marty and our kids—doing simple things like eating together, doing chores, watching movies, reading together, etc.  As long as we are all together doing whatever is the best activity.

BCM- How do you manage your work/life balance?   Any advice for new moms?

Grace - I have to be flexible everyday.  My advice: Try your best and don’t be afraid to ask for help.  Try to plan your day the best as you can but expect the unexpected!

BCM - Do you have any fun stories to share about the kids?    

Grace - One of the greatest things about each of my kids that I just adore, is that they just make me laugh.  I think each of them have very different personalities but they get their sense of humor from their dad, my hubby Marty.  

BCM - Any fun stories from your NYC trip?

Grace - I recently just returned from a mini-vacation/business trip to  Manthattan with my daughter Emma.  Besides the business meetings that we attended, we mostly walked around and enjoyed the sites and sounds of The Big Apple!    Since we were on West Coast time, we were walking in the middle of Times Square at 11:00pm and she said to me,  "Wow, mommie...I just love New York!" She was just amazed about how many people were out and about in Times Square at that hour.  I think she is a true city gal at heart!   

BCM - Was there ever a time that you wanted to give up on your job?  How do you do it all?  

Grace - First and foremost, I'm a mom. I won't ever give up being one.  In terms of my other job (patemm),  I have had my moments.  With an active family and a growing business, sometimes I wish there were more hours in a day to do more things with my family and to accomplish more at work!   I am constantly working on how to balance the many challenges of raising a family and running a business like many other moms and dads.  I often wish I had the "right formula" to make it all work but I don't.  Life isn't easy but I try my best everyday...    I'm truly blessed to have alot of support from my husband Marty~without him, I don't even know where I'd be.  Also, my mom and dad are always there to help out when Marty and I need an extra set of hands to help out with everything.    I just work hard to find the right balance that works for me and for the rest of my family.

BCM- What are your favorite “Mom Essentials” and why?

Grace -

Diapers—because we are constantly changing them,

Wipes—because I used them for cleaning “bottoms”, hands, feet, and faces, etc.

Patemm pad—need I say more…

and a good eye cream for me!

BCM- What is the best advice you received about being a mom?

Grace - Keep it simple…do what works for you.  Be yourself and have fun…Treasure each and every moment.

BCM-If you could give another mom or expectant mom one piece of advice, what would it be?

Grace - Do what works for you and your children/family!! 

BCM - What is your favorite new mom/baby product, other than yours?

Grace - Flushable wipes
