Maureen Fura

Maureen is a survivor of a maternal mental health disorder. She is an advocate for moms and works to raise awareness and close maternal mental healthcare gaps across the US. She wrote and directed, Dark Side of the Full Moon, a documentary film that exposes the gaps in care in the US. She is a local Postpartum Support International Coordinator, helping to connect local moms with resources, as well as a virtual support group facilitator for Postpartum Support international. She lives in Coconut Grove with her sea fearing husband, two beautiful sons, and 2 smelly dogs.
