Tips and Tricks for Navigating the Biggest Baby Shower

We are so excited to be in our 12th year of the Biggest Baby Shower New York City! The Biggest Baby Shower started in NYC 10 years ago and it’s only gotten bigger and better. On Tuesday, May 10th,  we will be celebrating our 35th Biggest Baby Shower! 

If you are attending the Biggest Baby Shower on Tuesday night, we cannot wait to see you! The Biggest Baby Shower is for YOU, and we want to make it fun and relaxing for you while you are there. We’ve put together a few simple tips and tricks to help you navigate the event.

Getting In: 

  • To speed up the check-in process please print out your ticket and bring photo ID and arrive during your check in time. ULTIMATE: 5:30, SUPER: 6:00pm, STANDARD & BASIC 6:30
  • There is a coat check if you need it, however please leave luggage/bags at home.
  • Once you pass the check-in desk, please be sure to grab your program guide and bingo card – oh, and make a pit stop to get your photo taken on the step and repeat!  

Inside the Biggest Baby Shower:

  • The event takes place on two floors. The first floor is comprised of mostly vendors and two (2) beverage stations. The second floor includes additional vendors, cafe and lounge area, sweet treats, and all seminars. 
  • Get ready to say cheese! We have so many roaming photographers that want to capture your glow!
  • There are restrooms on both the first and second floor.
  • Pumping and want some privacy?  There is a room dedicated to just that on the 2nd floor adjacent to the seminar area.

The Vendors

  • Almost every vendor will ask you for the same information (name, address, phone number, email.) It’s helpful to bring along adhesive address labels, so all you have to do is peel one off and your info is complete. 
  • Several companies will be offering special one-night only deals – so, be prepared to take advantage of all the extra discounts! 
  • A lot of companies will be hosting their own giveaways.  Big City Moms is NOT affiliated with those giveaways, so please follow up directly with the vendors to retrieve your prizes.

  • All Seminars are on the 2nd Floor.
  • We have so many great seminars throughout the night that are full of valuable information! If you see a seminar that interests you, make your way up to the second floor 5 minutes before it’s scheduled to begin. Think about any questions you might have for our speakers before you arrive so that you can ask during the Q&A period of the seminar.
  • Once a seminar is in session, you will not be permitted to enter as it disrupts the flow.
  • ONLY Bracelet holders are eligible to win prizes as the seminar.

Gift Bags

  • All gift bags and raffle prizes are distributed when you exit the event.
  • Gift Bag pick up is on the first floor by the main entrance and next to the coat check.
  • To make the process as seamless as possible – we suggest you collect your coat from coat check FIRST and THEN make your way to the check out line.
  • It is very important that you check to make sure you have all your items BEFORE you leave the event venue.  We cannot be responsible for items left behind.  (ie: don’t get your bracelet cut off by our staff until you have ALL your SWAG)

Additional information

The staff that work the vendor tables work extremely hard on their displays and to accommodate the attendees with all their requests.  PLEASE do not wait around when the event ends and ask if they are giving away their display items.  Most displays are donated to a local charity and it puts the vendors in a very uncomfortable position when you ask and they cannot deliver.
